Tuesday March 17th. 1909.
The Board met in regular session at 10 A. M. Mr. Nicar absent.
City Attorney instructed to notify the owner of a small frame building now.
located on the triangular strip of real estate, bounded by Vistula avenue, Washington
street and St. Joseph street, to have said building removed from said location or
out of the fire limits immediately.
The following bonds were released:

n CONDFMATION RESOLUTION NO. 47.
U�v Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That
the following described property be appropriated for the use of said city.
Begin at a point in the north line of the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Cots
right of way, which point is in the east line of Meade street produced south, as laid
out and platted in the West End Sub -Division, thence south on said east line of
Meade street produced to the. south line of said L. S. & M. S. Ry. Cots. right of
way, thence northwesterly on said south line of right of way; to a point in the west
line of Meade street produced, thence north to the north line of said right of way
thence southeasterly on said north line of right of way, to the place of beginning.
The following described property may be injuriously or beneficially affected
by such appropriation:
Right of Play of the Lake Shore & Michigan Southern Railroad Company.
The purpose of such appropriation is to open and extend Meade street across the
Right of flay of the Lake Shore & Michigan SouthernRailroad Company.
Notice of this resolution shall be published on the l9th day of March and on
the a9th day of March 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times.
This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the loth day of April 1909,
at 10 A. 8.4. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in.or
a ffected by these proceedings.
Adopted this 17th day of march, 1909.
