Hickey filed and approved and contract signed for the construction of ,the No. 10 Hose House. Remonstrance filed by the Michigan Central R. R. Co., Julia Wrasse, Ida Wrasse and Mrs. E. 1,1% Hans, against the amount of their awards in the opening of Elwood avenue& Woodward avenue. Hearing on the roll of awards and damages in the matter of opening of Elwood P+venue & Woodward avenue, under Condemnation Resolution No. was deferred until January loth, 19092 at 10 A. 14. Petition filed for an electric light at the Cor of Broadway & Carroll street. Vanderkarr & Son Engineer filed aGsessment rolls and final estimates for Brick Pavement on Broadway from Lafayette street to Carroll street; Brick Pavement on Cherry street from Washington street to Je'f erson street; Brick Pavement on Cottage Grove avenue & Grand View avenue from Michigan avenue to Michigan avenue; Brick Pavement on Park avenue from Forest avenue t Leland avenue Grade, Curb & Wal? on Cedar street from Frances street to Arthur street; Grade, Curb & Walk on Chapin street from Indiana avenue to Alley North of Leon Court; Grade, Curb & Walk on Leon Court from Catalpa avenue to Kendall street; Grade, Curb & Walk on Longley avenue from Wilber street to Johnson street; Grade, Curb & Walk on Rupel street from Wilber street to Johnson street and Grade, Curb & Walk on Pine street from Napier street to L. S. & M. S. R. R. All under Improvement Resolutions A?os. 479, 4957 435, 4932 4902 492, 5022 4722 470, 465 respectively. Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for six consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times, commencing on the 2nd day of January 1909, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the amount of such assessments at its office in the City Hall on the 21st day of January, 1909, at 7:15 P. M. Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shell be published on the 2nd day of January, 1909, in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City '"all on the 21st day of January, 1908, at 7:15 P.
