The Board met in'regular session at 10 A. M. All members present.
The Board having under consideration the matter of awards and damages under
Condemnation Resolution No. 36, for the opening of Woodward avenue & Elwood avenue:
A Roll of awards and dssessments was made up by the Board, showing awards of damages
and assessment of benefits in said matter, which said roll to be known as "THE
OPENING OF WOODWARD AVENUE & ELWOOD RVENUE ASSESSME9T ROLL".
It is ordered that a hearing on said awards and assessments be given at the
office of the Board on the 31st day of December 1907, at 10 A.M. and that proper
legal notice of such hearing be served by the Chief_ of Police, according to law,
on the property owners affected by such roll.
VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 51.
Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That
it is desirable to vacate the following:
-Ail of the 14 foot alley lying west of lots 11, 12, 139 149 15, 16, 17, 19
19 & 20 in Perley Lumber Company Addition. Also '7 foot alley.lying North of lot 20
in PerlqV Lumber Company Addition.
The following described property may be injuriously or beneficially effected
by such vacation:
All of Lots 11, 12, 132 141, 15, 169 172 19. Perley Lumber Co. Add. Joseph Schmidt.
All of Lots 19 & 20 Do. Harvey S. Cover.
- Begin 179 feet west of a point 9.05 chains south of the north line of S.WW
1 4 of section 13. T. 37. N. R. 2 E. and 50 feet west of the center line of.Michigan
1� street; thence south 3.37 1/4 chains; thence west to the Vandalia railroad; thence
s N. 3.37.1/4 chains; thence east -to place of beginning.

Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 12th dgy of December and
on the 19th day of December 1907, in the South Bend Daily Times.
This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 3 day of January 190F,
at 10 A. M. will hear and.receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or
affected by these proceedings.
