Barnes, Contractor for theamount of............ ......................1,640.00 ✓ Contract for Grade, curb and walk on Olive Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street finder improvement Resolution No. 225. was awarded to Joseph Szweda,Contractor for the . amount of ................ ..... .......................... ....... .........$12659.00 In the matter of awarding .the contract for pipe sewer on Quincy Street from Portage Avenue to Blaine Avenue, the same was deferred until Tuesday April 29th.,1913. at LOA.M. Plat presented to the Board of Wm. A. Lintner's Addition. The same tws- referred to the City Civil Enginer for investigation. / The Board approved of the following resolution: ZrMPREAS, John Siefert, a Citizen of South Bend, Indiana, did acquire a due and sufficient title to the south half of Lot 11, in the City Cemetery of South Bend, in Block Three (3) Range One (1) East for aconsideration of Five (t.5.00) at the time paid. AND %1EREAS, The City of South Bend in issuing said certificate of title did make an error in s One (L) East* pecifying the south half of lot 12 Block Three (3) Range NOW, Be it resolved by the Board of Public Works of the aforesaid City that the Xayor o,f said City ' issued''a , certificate of title to John Siefert for the south half of Lot ll, Block Three (3) Range One (1) East in the City Cemetery of the City of South Bend, Indiana, to coerect the, aforesaid error. NIEDBALSKI. ✓Petition filed with the Board and read for Grade, curb and walk on North side of Parkovash Avenue, North of Parkovash Park. The same was referred to the City Engineer for investigation. ✓ Petition filed with the Board and read for curb and walk on both sides of Tonti Avenue from Lafayette Street to Iroquois Street, The same was referred to the City Engineer for investigation. ✓Petition filed with the Board and read for gravel foundation under Brick Pavement on Pine Street. ✓In the matter of petition and remonstrance for the Vacation of Alley running from, Van Buren Street to Cushing Street,, the same were placed on file. Contractors Bond for One Thousand (1,000.00)Dollars signed by Indiana & Michigan Electric Company as prinicipal and Fred A. Bryan and Fred L. Dennis as Sureties was approved by the Board. Communication received by the Board from property holders on Kenwood Avenue and Smith Street, for a joint meeting between Board of Public Works and Board of Public Safety at 2:30 T.M. All members present. ✓ Declaratory hearing given on Improvement Resolution No. 241 fear Pipe sever on Quimby Street from Eddy Street to Francis Street, In the City of Sottth Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no ~remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were Oiled. The Board the-refore find in each and every case in said Improvement that the bene— fits; to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to estimated cost of said improvement and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved further that notices be phblished on the 26th. day of April,1913 and on. the 3rd. day of May 1913 in the South Bend Daily Times, 'stating that this Board will receive bids for trje construction of said improvement up to 10 A.M. on the 14th. day of Mayllg!7*1 The Board reserves the right to reject any an all bids. Declaratory hearing given on Trunk sewer on Indiana Avenue from Kemble Avenue to Franklin .Street,under Improvement Resolution No. 243. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrance was filed. The Board therefore find ' in each and every case in said improvements that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improve - merit and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. Resolved further, that notices be publis -&d on the 26th. day of April, 1913 and on, the 3rd. day of May,1913 in the South .Bend Mily Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00A.M. on the 14th. day of May,1913. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvement that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed. and approved. Resolved further, that notices be published on the 26ths day of Ap i 913 and on the 3rd. day May,1913 in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvement up to 10 A.M. on the 14th . day of Ma.Y21913 • : The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. In the above matter remonstrators appeared but no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in eac_i na' every case in said improvement that the benefits to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in ail things ratified, con firmed and approved. Resolved, that notices be published on the 26th. day of April and on the 3rd. day of May,1913 in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10 A.M. on the 14th. day of May4913 The hoard reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
