Board met in regular "session at 10:00 A.M. Mr. Bastian absent.
Petition filed asking for opening of Dayton Street from Miami Street to Marine Street
also for grade, curb and walk on the same. The same was referred to the City Engineer
for investigation.
The clerk was o --dered to write to Jacobson -Peterson Peltz and Kaufer for prices on
supplies for the Street Department.
r 1peclaratory hearing given on Improvement Resolution No. 212 for Pipe sewer on Euclid
Avenue from Brick Avenue to a point 50 ft. No. of the forth line of haPofte Avenue. In
the City of South Bend, Indiana.
In the above matter no further remonstrators appeared and no further
remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every case in said im-
provement that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend, are equal to
the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified,
confirmed and approved.
Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily
times bn the 19th. day of February 1913 and on the 26th. day of February 1913 to the
Cffect that this Board will receive bids for said improvement up to 10:00 A.M. on the
14the day of March 1913. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
+he clerk was ordered to invite the Board of Park Commissioners and City Attorney to
be present at the Board's session on Friday February the 21st. 1913 at 10:00 A.K.
to take the matter of the Condemnation for a highway from Sample Street to Ewing Ave.
The Board ordered proposals published for the purchase of Twe4ty Thousand (20v U) feet
of number for the Stet and Alley Department of thle tit The same to be publishe& on
thee .:20th. day of Feb.91913 and on the " , day of February,1913 and proposals to be
opened on the lgth. day of March,1913 a :00 A.M.
Petition received from the Indiana & Michigan Electric Company in connection with the
installation of lamps No. 762 asking permission to set two -35 ft. poles, one at the
corner of Woodward Avenue and Hodson Avenue and the other just south of Woodward Ave.
The Board approves of the following:
One pole to be placed at the northwest corner of
Woodward and Hodson Avenue, the other :at the corner of lst. alley west on Hodson
both to be placed tempoftrily-1 awaiting underground ordinances.
