Bids for Pipe sewer on Cottage Grove Avenue,und:er Improvement 2.04. were.., opened and read, and the same were referred to the City Engineer for tabulation to be reported back Friday October 25th. 1912 at 10:00 =A.M. vHearing given on Assessment Roll and Final. Estimate for Brick Pavement On Hydraulic Avenue from LaSalle Avenue to the Bridge at Madison Street. Under Improvement Resolution No. 130. In. the City of South Bend, Indiana in 1912. In. the above matter no remenst rat ors appeared but a remonstrance was filed by the Oliver Chilled Plow Works. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said roll filed August 30th. 1912 is benefited in the amount of assessments as shown on said roll in red figures, and t he Board furt&er find that the assessment roll filed August 30th. 1912. and the final estimate allowed August 30th. 1912 should be modified to read as follows: -'That the Northerly side sould be assessed from the northerly property line to the center of the Avenue and the -balance of the pavement assessed to the southerly side as shown by red figures. on the -roll, and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed anal approved. i/ Petition for pipe sewer on Euclid Avenue from La Porte. Avenue to Brick Avenue received and read, and the same was referred to the City Engineer for investigation. Bond and contract signed by De Paepe & Coussens & The United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company of Baltimore, for pipe sewer on Liston Street from Birdsell St.$. to Adams Street under Improvement Resolution No. 200, approved by the Board. i/Bond and contract signed by De. Pappe & Coussens and the United States Fidelity & Guaranty Company of Baltimore, Md. for pipe sewer on Linden, Carlile and Sadie Streets, from Olive Street to Washin.gten Avenuem� under Improvement Resolution No. 189 was approved by the Board. ,--'Bond and contract signed by The River Pafk Land and Improvement Company for Trade, curb and walk on 19th. street from Mishawaka Avenue to Grand Trunk Western Ry. , Under improvement Resolution Noe 197. was approved by the Board. ,Communication received from the Treasurer Department at Washington D.C. to the effect that the United States Government pays no Street Improvement Assessments, the wame was placed en file.
