J Communication received and read from the Health Depart ent regardir* the e:reamat` ry
plant. The same was placed on file.
v Petition received and read ' asking for street ,opening on South Scott Street from
Sample Street To Leen Court, The same was referred to' the City Enkineer for
investigation.
The Board approved of the follvvdng assignment.
ASSIGNMENT
/ For and in considerationofthe sum of On€{(1«00) Dollar and Other
V good and valuable consieration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby ac—
knowledged, I hereby sell, assign, transfer and set over unto Fred Corporan. a 1 my
right, title and interest in and to a certain contract awarded to Corporan & tteidt by
The Board of Public Works of =the City of South Bend, Indiana on the 19th day of
July 1912, for the improvement of South Eleventh Street by constructing curb
sidewallk and curb, and I hereby -direct the City Controller of said City fgrace, o pay t
Fred Corporan any moneys or bonds that may be or become due me under se ld contract
and to deliver to said Carperan a certified list of any and -all assessments levied
on account of said improvement and not paid or waived by the ovn*rs of the property
so assessed.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 21ste day
of August 1912.

RESOLVED by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bedd,Indiena
That it is desirable to vacate part of KALARAMA STREET from the, alley West of .Hill i�treet
t o Turno ek Street as follows,to@wit: -
Begin at the Northwest corner of lot, 7 in Cedar
Height's Addition, thence east along the south line of Kalarama Street _to the west lineef
Turnock St reet , thence North £eft. thence , west parallel with, and .8 ft. North of the south
line of said Kalarama Street to the first` alley west of Hill,#Street. thence south 9 ft.
to the Northwest corner of lot 7 in Cedar Height's.
Also begin at the Southwest corner of lot 6 i Cedar Hei ght t s thence east
along the North line of Kn'A„�-Street t_o the west line of Turneek Street, thence soup
