Board met in regular session at 10:00 A. M. All members present.
-'�Bozd and contrast for Pipe Sewer on Garfield Court ,under Improvement -Resolution No.
159, signed- by DePaepe & Cousins and the United States Fidelity and Guaranty
Co. of Balitmere, Md., and approved by the Board.
'Bond and contract for Grade, curb and walk .on Lincoln Street , Under Improvement
Resolution. No. 184. Signed by De Papepe and Coussins and the United .States Fidelity
and Guaranty Co. of Balitmere , Md. and approved by the Board.
Partial estimate on' Meade Street Trunk Sewer wis'allowed to O'Shea & 0'Sl @&2 Con—

In the matter of awarding bids on Nineteenth street, same was deferred. until Friday
morning August 23rd. 1912.
,,—On motion duly made and seconded, the Board decided to reconsidwrtheir action, taken
on Tuesday June 18th. 1912 at 10:00 A.M. in regard to Pipe Sewer on Studebaker Street
from F&Fsnacht Avenue to Linden Avenue, under Improvemext Resolution No. 157.
The Board therefore find in each and every case in said improvements that the bene-
fits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost,
of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed, and
app ro ve d.
RESOLVED, that notices be published on the 22nd. day of August, 1912 and on the 29th.
day of August, 1912 in the South Bend DR 1y Times, stating that this Boar d will rec—
eive bids for the construction of said inprovemeRt up to 10:00 A.M. on the DOth. day
of Reptember 1912. The Board reserves the right to re;ect any and all bids.
t-�'Ia the matter of Contract and agreement .with the Chicago, South Beard & Northern
-Indiana Ry. Company in regard to double tracking on Vistula Avenue from Sample Street
to Ernsperger Street,. The same was referred to the City Attorney.
Complaint made of pole in the way at 512 W. Colfax Avenue, J. Garst,residenee.
Report received from Pole and Wire inspector as follows:-
Thks is a postal Telegraph Compaxyls pole. It lies in front of a gateway and should
be removed at once. I have notified the Supt., of Construction on the Underground
work to remove the pole at once. T. H. Beaning. Approved by Board.
Notify Postal the underground will be extended to LaPorte Avenue.
