*/Communication received from Oliver: Chilled Plow Company, with reference to pile in
river at Power Plant. Same was referred to the City Attorney.
Petition received for Pipe Sewer on Witwer Avenue from Dubail Avenue to Indiana
Avenue. The same was referred to the City Engineer for investigation.
Bonds and contracts s#gned and approved for pipe sewers on the following Streets:

Improvement Resolution No. 160. Contractor, Henry DeVos.

✓Bond and contract signed and approved for the Trunk Sewer on Main Street from Indiana
Avenue to Ewing 'Avenue, under Improvement Resolution No. 176. , Contractor Henry De Ves.
✓G ode, curb and alk on Kinyon Street from Portage Avenue to W. line of Morris Park
Addition, under Improvement Resolution No. 169 was signed and approved by the Board
and H. W. Reed & Sons.
`Graide, curb and walk on Various Streets, under'Improvement Resolution No. 151, was
signed and approved by the Board and Hugh Anderson.
--Grade, curb and walk on 'Howard Street from Notre .Dame Avenue to Eddy Street, under
.Improvement . Resolution Noe 153, was signed and approved by the Board and Hugh Anderson.
The City Engineer reports the water in 'on all lots on Carroll Court by private contract
with the exception of one lot, which is ordered by the Board to be laid,under Improve-
ment resolution No. 75.
dIn the matter of bids on St. Vincent Street, gr4do, curb and walk,under.,Improvement Res-
olution No. 165 no bids were received and.the Board ordered bids re -let an Friday
August the 2nd. 1912.
✓ In the matter of the Condemnation of Sherman Avenue South to lst. East and West Alley
North of Oak Street, under Condemnation Resolution No. 14. The Board having said
matter under advisement find that the remonstrators appearing and remonstrahi.ng ,should
be sustained and that the resolution Should be and the same;,is hereby and in all things
rescinded.

Street from Wayne Street to Monroe Street, under Imrovement Resolution No. 115.
Resolved, that notices atis.to the,,Apounts of assessments be published for six consecutive
days in the South Bend Daily Takes, commencing on the 15th. day of July.1912,stating
that this Board will give a hearing an the amount of .such assessments at its office in
the City Hall on the 9the day of Auguste 1912, at 7:45 P.M*
Resolved further, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted and epprove
and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be published
on the 15th. day of July 1912,in the South. Bend Daily Times,' stating that this Board
will give �a hearing on the acceptance. of such work at its office in the City Hall on

on South Main Street from Wayne Street to Monroe Street,under Improvemant

No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Beard. there fore
find that the property assessed -in said rolls filed June 18th. 1912bis benefited
in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find
that the assessment roll filed June l8th. 1912 and the final, estimate allowed
June 18th. 1912 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, con
firmed and. approved. "

in the amount as shove on 'said rolls, and the Board further find that the assess-
ment rolls filed June 28th. 1912 and the final estimate June 28th. 1912 should be
and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.
