APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Commission unanimously approved the minutes of'the regular meeting of May 4, 1967, upon the motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. Chenney. 3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS Upon the motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Kompar, the Commission approved payment of the following claims, totaling $31,984.57. D. C. ltr of May 8, 1967 to Redevelopm nt Dept., corresponding as Chairman of FNMA Board and cannot jus ify reducing mortgage on the Smith Homes. Mr. Bellinger reported t at all avenues of exploration have been tried and therefore here can be no relief from the mortgages. b. Chicago DHUD ltr of May 10, 1967, gives federal approval for the Di gnostic Survey Contract and Referral Service Contract for LaSall Park, R -57. c. A jersonal contact from Mr. Woodrow Frick, Indiana State Federation of Labor, Indianapolis, requesting that Mr. Bellinger's signature appear on an Agreement that the prevailing wage scale for various crafts will be paid for site improvements in the Chapin Street Project, R -29. This Agreement conforms with the wage scale submission in the bid documents for this project, and also has been approved'f r legal adequacy by Attorney Hammerschmidt. 5. OLD BUSINESS $ 9,780.96 2,052.68 941.06 $12,774.70 In order t3 relocate two families from the Place Homes into Public RELOCATION FI- Housing, tie staff proposed to pay the requirements of a security NANCIAL ASSIS- deposit of $50.00 each, and the first month's rent of $40.00 each, TANCE, LASALLE because thai families are unable to pay at this time. The deposit PARK, R -57 is to be made in the name of the Redevelopment Department for refunding urposes. The families indicated they will attempt to repay the ent advance. Upon the motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. Che ney, the .Commission approved said action, with a periodic referral b the staff to be made to these families. 6. NEW BUSINESS a. The Commission approved Resolutions 177 and 178, which RESOLUTIONS 177 authorizes the staff to submit to Chicago DHUD office, HUD Form AND 178, REQUEST 6144, Request for Concurrence in Acquisition Prices, for certain FOR CONCURRENCE parcels in the LaSalle Park Project, R -57, upon the motion by IN ACQUISITION Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. Chenney. Resolution 177 applies to PRICES, LASALLE Parcel 9 -4 , and Resolution 178 applies to B. G. Upon staff recommendation and in accordance with the rent RENT ADJUSTMENT, olicy, the Commission approved the rent adjustment for Parcel LASALLE PARK, -1, Case No. 95, from $75.00 to $45.00, in the LaSalle Park R -57 Project, R-57, with the motion by Mr. Chenney, seconded by Mr. Kompar. -4-
