RESOLVED, that notices as to the amounts of assessments be published for
six 'consecutive days in the South Bend Daily Times, commencing on the lat. day of
July 1912 `stating that this Board will 'give a hearing on the -amount of such assessments
at its o f fi ce at the City Hall on the 12th. day of July 1912 at 7:45 P.M.
RESOLVED further, that the entire work under the above contracts be accepted
and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution shall be
published on the lat. day of July 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times, rstating that this
Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office in the City Hall
on the 12th. day of July 1912 at 7:45 P.M.

facing of the drives in the Cemetery. The same was referred' to the City Cemetery
Sexton..
✓Petition recei,Aved by the Board from the Honorable City Council signed b,y Pro-
perty holders on Niles Avenue and inNavarre Place, asking fo r the removal of the
old cement plant. The same was referred to the Board of Public Safety,
The Engineer reported a grade -for the First Alley EastofSt. Peter Street from
LaSalle_ Avenue to -Madison Street. The same was placed on file.

Hearing given on Declaratory Resolution No. 171 for Pipe Sewer on St. Louis
Street from Cedar Street too Miner Street.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed.
Therefore be it resolved that the Board find in each and every case in said improvement
that the benefits to the property, and to the City of South Bend are equal to the esti-
mated cost of said improvment and the :same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed a
and approved.
Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Times on the 2901.
day of June 1912 and on the -6th4. day of July, 1912 to the effect that this Board will
receive bids for the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 16th.

filed. Therefore be it resolved that the Board find in each and every case in said

in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the PoArd further find that

No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed, the Board there-
fore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed June 5th. 1912 is benefited
in the amount of assessments as shoem on said rolls, d the Board. further find that the
assessment rolls filed June 5th. 1912 and the final estimate allowed June 5th. 1912
should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and approved.

from Columbia Street to St. Joseph River, under Improvement Resolution No-. 104.
No remonstrators .appeared and no remonstrances were filed, the Board there-
fore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed June• 5th. 1912 is benefited in
the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the
assessment rolls filed June 5th. 1912 and the final estimate allowed `June 5th. 1912 sho•

✓ In the matter of the Hearing on Bomman Creek Trunk Sewer, under Impm vement Resoluton
No. 181, all action was deferred on the same until July 12th. Friday 1912. at 7:45 P.M.
In the matter of the hearing -on Bowman Creek Trunk Sewer and Drain,under. Improvement•
Resolution No. 190, all action on the same was deferred until Friday July 12th. 1912.
at 7:45 P.M.
BWonstrance received by the Board -from property owners on the west side of Leer St.
remonstrating against the assessment ..on -Bowman Creek sewer, as they state it vdll be
of no benefit whatsoever to them, an individual street sewer will give us the service
needed, the same emptying in the river at the foot of Leer Street, Same was placed on
file.
Petition received and placed on file as king for an individual sewer on Leer Street
from Bowman St. to St. Joseph River and relief from any and all assessments fo r ' the
Bowmam Sewer. The same was referred to the City Engineer for investigation.
