Board met in regular. session at 10.:00 A. M. All members present.
"Bids were opened and read for the Grading of the First AlleyEast of High greet
and were referred to the Engineer for tabulation:`
"Bids were opened and read for water connections on. Carroll Court, and referred to
the engineer for tabgtiltion .
Hearings --given on Pavement on the First alley west of Lafayette Street, "from LaSalle
Avenue to Madision Street. The sane was deferredto Tuesday June.the 19th.,. 1912.
at 10:00 A.M.
Hearing given on Pavement on the first Alley North of LaSalle Avenue from Lafayette
Street t® the first North and south alley. The .same was deferred until Tuesday
June l8t h. 1912 at 10 : 00 A.M.
✓Hearing given on the grade, curb and walk on St. Vinvent Street from Notre Dame t
Eddy Street. The same was deferred until Tuesday June l9th. 1912 at 10:00 A.M.
'Hearing given on the Grade, curb qnd walk on Kinyon Street from Portage Avenue to
the west lime of the Moreyt s Addition, Under Improvement Resolution 169.
In the above matter no remonstrators gpptared and no remonstrance was filed. There-
fore be it resolved that 1the Board find in each and every case in said Improvements
that the benefits to the property, and to the City of South Bend are equal to the
estimated cost of said improvement& and the sane are hereby in all things ratified,
confirmed and approved.
Be it resolved that notice be publishld in the South Bend Times on the
day of June and on the 24th. day of June 1912 to the Effect that this Board will
receive bids for the construction of 3&ia improvements up to 10:00 A. M. ®n the 5th.

In the above matter no remonattrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed.
Therefore be it resolved that the Board find in each and every case in said Improve—
ments that the benefits to the property, and to the City of South Bend are equal
to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things
ratified, confirmed and approved.
Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 17th.

from Jefferson Boulevard to Cedar Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 92.
Oral remonstrators appeared, but no written remonstrances were filed. The Board the
therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed May 21st. 1912 is
benefited in the amount ,of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the. Boetrd further
find that the assessment rolls filed May 21st. 1912 and the final estimate allowed
_ May 21st. 1912 should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed
and approved..

No remonstrators appeared and no remonstranees were -Filed. The Board there'fere find
that the prgpe;rty assessed in said rolls filed May 21st. 1912 is benefited in the
amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the Board further find that the
assessment rolls filed May 21st. 1912 and the final estimate allowed May 21st. 1912
should be and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and, approved.

No remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore
(find that the property assessed in said rolls filed May 21st'. 1912 is benefited on
in the amount of assessments as shoran on said rolls, and the Board further find that
the assessment rolls filed May 21st. 1912 and the Ti.nal estimate allowed May 219
1912 should be; and the same are hereby in all things ratified, confirmed and ap--
proved.

In the above matter remonstrators appeared and remon.st rances were filed, and the
Board after due consideration deferred all action until 'Fri,day, January 17th.,. 1913..
