2. -APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Minutes of the regular meeting of August 19, 1965 were read and unanimously
approved.
3. APPROVAL OF CLAIMS
Upon motion by Mr. Kompar, seconded by Mr. Koczan, the Commission unanimously
approved payment of the following claims, totaling $2,692.98.

He has had the documents for two weeks and he explained that
his audit-or is on vacation.
b. The Chicago URA office continues to stress that we should
hire a full time disposition and real estate man. Also they have
reminded us of their approval of our updating the reuse appraisals
for rema:ning land to be sold in R-7, and they will not approve
-us selling any more land until the appraisals have been updated.
The Comm ssion approved the-motion made by Mr. Kompar, and '
seconded by Mr. Koczan that the two appraisers previously used,
Real Est to Research Corporation and Mid-America Appraisal
Corporat on, both of Chicago, be hired to revise their appraisals,
each for a fee of $1,500, in conformance with the recommendation
of the S R Group.

g. I aSalle Park R -57. We have requested permission from
the Park Department to use the B. G. Smith Recreation Building
as our R location and Rehabilitation Site Office. We suggested
that if given permission for the use of the building we will put
about $2)0 improvements on it, such as screens, painting,
padlocks and so forth, and we will pay one -half of all the
utilitie It was brought out that vandalism could be kept
at a min um with our staff there during the day.
h. avid Myers, Planner I, engaged recently at $5,400
per annui, has been offered a position paying $6,600 per annum.
Because we cannot meet this offer, or pay him even $6,000 per
annum du to the limitation of the 1966 Budget, he has notified
us of hi resignation effective two weeks from September 6, 1965.
The Comm ssion approved a emotion by Mr. Koempar, and seconded
by Mr. K czars that we engage Mrs. Fawn Rosek on a part time
basis an that she be put on full time, paying $5,100 per
annum, a fective after Mr. Meyer's resignation.
The next regular Commission meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m.,
Thursday September 16, 1965.
