The Commission, on motion by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Koczan, LEASE
unanimously approved the signing of this lease on a month -to -month
basis, subj ct to sale, and approval of lease by LPA Attorney
Bruce C. Ha merschmidt. This rental is to be at the rate of $100

Mr. Nowak r ported to the Commission that the Survey & Planning
Application submitted to the Common Council of "the City of South
Bend for ap roval was tabled at their meeting of September 28,
1964 for a roximately 30 days in order to allow time to further
study the x solution. It was the suggestion of the Commission

redevelopment committee in order that the Council be made aware
of the time element involved in connection with the non -cash

Mr. Scott reported that a meeting is to be held with the small SMALL
businessmen in the Indiana�R -29 area. They are trying to BUSINESS
explore the possibility of small business loans to facilitate IND. R -29
relocation.
