I. MINUTES
Minutes Df the meeting held May 21, 1964 were read and approved, on
motion made by Mr. Helmen, and seconded by Mr. Brown.
II•. APPROVAL OF OPTIONS
On motion by Mr. Brown, seconded by Mr. Wiggins, and unanimously passed,
the Commission approved options in the Chapin Street project Indiana
R-29 Are on the following parcels: 1 -4, 2--2, 2 -4, 2--13, 2-►21, 2 -24,
2-25, 3-14, 3-19, 3-22, 3-23 and 5-5.

On motior by Mr. Brown, seconded by Mr. Helmen, and unanimously carried,

V. PRO RESS REPORT
Mrs. Dorothy Howell reported that six families have been
relocated during the month of April in theChapin Street
Indiana --29 Project Area. There has been no relocation
during the month of May due to the delay in acquisition
by the C mmission.

in Michigan City June 11 to 13, 1964, on motion by Mr.
Helmen, econded by Mr. Wiggins.

On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Helmen, the REINVESTMENT
Commission authorized the reinvestment of $150,000 from OF R-7 FUNDS
the Project Expenditures Account Fund R-7 in U.S. Treasury
Bills fok 30 days.
The Comm ssion, on motion by Mr. Koczan, seconded by Mr.
Wiggins, approved the attendance of the International
Federati n for Housing and Planning Conference by Henry
Sucher at his own expense June 21 - 28, adjoining his
annual v cation.
Mr.,Nowalc, reportedthat the.Department is not in a position
to commence work on weed control in the Indiana R�'-7 Area
due to the fact that the contractor still has his obliga
tions to fulfill in grading, and the weeds are not pre -
dominent in the area at the present.

V. PRO RESS REPORT -- Continued
On motion by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Koczan, the
Commission approved the execution of the Quit Claim Deed
to Jerome and Betty Silverman, Parcel 1(f) in the.Sample
Street —7 Project Area. The purchase price of the land
is $5,4-M.15.
On mots n by Mr..Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Brown and
unanimously adopted, the Commission approved the revision
of parc Zbject #6_8 reflecting a $500 increase for a total of
$4500, to HHFA concurrence.
On motion duly made and seconded, meeting adjourned 11x25.
