A PROVAL OF MINUTES Minutes of the meeting of February 20, 1964 were read and,approved, on motion made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Brown and unanimous- ly ca ried. -1- II. �PPROVAL OF OPTIONS On motion made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Helmen and unani -- mousl carried, the Commission approved an option in the Chapin Streez Project Indiana R -29 area on parcel 5 -7. Mr. Sucher repor ed that to date there are 81 properties either closed or unde4tal option in the project, representing approximately 65/ of the parcels. III. V. RESOLUTION #76 On motion made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr.. Wiggins and unanimously passed, the Commission approved the resolution authorizing the Rede- velopment Department to acquire an additional parcel, No. 15 -6, in the Sample Street Project Indiana R-7 Area, since it contains non- conforming and substandard buildings. Resolution 476'covering this authori ation is hereby attached and made a part of these minutes. A request for concurrence in a maximum acquisition price for this parcel as also approved on motion made by Mr. Helmen, and seconded by Mr. illiams. VI. RESOLUTION #7 On moti n made by Mr,. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Brown and unanimously carried, the Commission approved the resolution approving the pro- posed disposition by sealed bids and minimum price for Disposition Parcel No. 6 in the Sample Street Project Indiana R -7 area. Adver- tising is to be inserted March 25,1964, and 'written bids are to be opened April 16, 1964 at 10;30 a.m., subject to URA concurrence. Resolution #77 covering this authorization is hereby attached and made a part of these minutes. VII. At the Report TRICT - INDIANA R -41 ayor's suggestion, the Commission tabled the Eligibility n the LaSalle Park Area for further study. 2XI'm VIII, PROGRESS REPORT" The Commission was informed that an Offer for the remain- ing 1351 frontage on Scott Street was received in the Sample Street Industrial Park Area from the Indiana Wiping Cloth Company. The Commission approved the Offer subject to concurrence by the Urban Redevelopment Administration and submission of satisfactory financial statement, on motion made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Brown and unanimously carried. This transaction will complete the sale of the entire frontage on Scott Street that is now available. LAND DISPOSITION R -7 On motion made by Mr. Wiggins, seconded by Mr. Helmen H -6144 and unanimously carried, the Commission approved HHFA R-29 Form * -6144, Request for Concurrence in Acquisition Prices on parcels 1 -5, 2 -7, 2 -13 and 6 -11 in the Chapin Street Indiana R -29 area.
