Minutes of the special meeting held February 6, 1963 were read and

Meeting was held at the recommendation of the Redevelopment Trustees
to explore ways and means of accelerating industrial development in
the Sam le Street Redevelopment Project (Innerbelt Industrial Park)
area.

It was decided to:

explore and discuss promotional ideas..
3. Report be made to the press on the efforts of various
organizations in South Bend to attract industry to the Sample Street
Area.
4. Methods by which the image of South Bend may be improved
generally were discussed..

Meeting
Reference was made to the formation of a citizens committee
at the grass roots level for boosting sale of land in the
Sample Street Area.
Mr._Seybold mentioned the fact that.the Civic Planning
Association was working on citizenship participation in
improving the general image of South,Bend by emphasizing
the positive aspects of the community.
