On motion made by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Helmen and unanimously

IV. R14SOLUTION
On motion made by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr-. Helmen -and unanimously
carried, the Commission approved a resolution authorizing the filing of
a revi ed application for Loan and Grant for Sample Street Project,
Indian R -7. The resolution is herewith attached and made. apart of
the mi utes..

On motion made by Mr Williams, seconded by Mr.. Helmen and unanimously
carried, the Commission- approved and_signed.the,Yeasibility Survey
Contract with Blair and Stein Associates for . the -Central Area,

VI. RELOCATION,.& PROPERTY MANAGEMENT.
On motion made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr.. Williams and unanimously
carrie , it was moved that the following action be taken on the follow-

carried, the resolution approving the sale of land in Project Indiana
R -29 to the Housing Authority and the Park Department was approved by
the Coiunission. The resolution is herewith attached and made a part

Street Area. The community cannot provide,any tax or
financial inducements under Indiana law. No'private groups
have been found that are willing to do this. Discussion
centered on methods of advertising and publicizing the
avail: ility of this land. Three fspeci'fic'ideas were:
(1) that trucking companies in the West Sample Street Area
be not ' fied -of the availibility of this land with the idea-
that s me -of these -- clients -may be interested in the 'parcels'; "
(2) ,pat of th'e area: should be. s'et' 'aside for potential in-
vestments for future developments; (3) it was suggested
that we have classified ads in some of the towns within 50--
60 miles radius of South Bend7.:`Irt v,ias tA.e Commission's
recommendation that meetings of the same type be held at
