Koczan and unani- mously carried, claims for payment totaling $9,033.01 were en- dorsed by the Commission. II. RESOLUTION NO. 52 Reso ution authorizing acceptance of bid for land in the Sample Stre t Redevelopment Area was approved by the Commission, upon moti n made by Mr. Williams, seconded by Mr. Koczan, and unani- mous y carried, as follows: W EREAS, Model Coverall Service, Inc. of Grand Rapids, Michigan, has ade an offer meeting the approved minimum price on a part of Disp sal Parcel No. 1, Sample Street Redevelopment Project, and EREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the acceptance of this bid is in accordance with the approved disp sal program for this area, and -2- II. min and acc res to eas a rZ III. DETERMINATION OF POLICY ON REAL ESTATE COMMISSIONS FOR INDUSTRIAL LAND SALES The Commission was informed by Mr. Sucher that, upon recommen- dation of the Committee of 100, he contacted Mr. J. J. Harring- ton, Industrial Realtor, in Chicago, and Mr. Harrington stated he uould work on disposal of real estate in the Sample Street Project Area Indiana R -7 at a rate of 6/ for the first $50,000 and 5/ - over. The South Bend Board of Realtors will be con- tacted to see if local realtors are willing to work on the same basis. The Commission asked the staff to find our whether URA would approve the cost of a half -page ad in the "Industrial Property Guide" of the S.I.R. Meeting adjourned 11 :35 a.m. G. r t Fred .
