We expect the work planned for Dubai will be done and would like to have new curbs and sidewalks on High Street to match Fellows Street so both our North-South corridors are in good shape. Other streets should follow, especially where new or rehabbed housing is being planned. Additional street lighting is needed, especially north of where the last infill ended. We want this program of new lighting to continue. Reevaluate parking on Wenger Street at the Southeast Park to add more parking and need new signage as well Affordable Housing Since we are dedicated to having a good neighborhood for working class people, so the continuance of building new affordable housing is important. We want to include a wider variety of housing options, including single story homes and other homes for retirees, etc. An emphasis on aiding persons with financial assistance and, perhaps, programs to perform the work, for those unable to do necessary repairs on their homes, especially the elderly. Youth Engagement Have a more extensive summer employment program that helps the neighborhoods and parks. Have high school career programming that includes service to neighborhoods and teachers being a good neighbor. Economic Development Help create a strong Miami Street Business Association and upgrade the business district there. Public Safety Add shot spotters where needed Improve overall police protection. I hope this is helpful. We have invited neighbors to attend, but I do not know if any will. However, I will be there.
