carr ed, the minutes of October 19, 1961 meeting were approved as
read and the following business was discussed:
II. JAPPROVAL OF OPTIONS
The commission reviewed the Option Agreements signed by property
owners in the Sample Street Renewal Area - Project No. Ind. R -7.
Upon motion made by Mr. Place, seconded by Mr. Helmen and unani-

IV. RESOLUTION NO. 37 - CHAS. W. COLE & SON ENGINEERING CONTRACT
The ommission,, upon.mot,ion. made by Mr. Helmen, seconded by Mr. Place
and unanimously carried, approved a resolution authorizing the sign-
ing of Part "B" of the Engineering Contract for the Sample Street
Project Area, Indiana R -7, to cover boundary improvements provided
as 1 cal non -cash grants -in -aid.
V. REQUEST FOR HHFA CONCURRENCE
The commission .,,upon,;motion made-by Mr:.,Helmen,,;seconded by Mr. Place
and unanimously carried, approved HHFA Form H -6144 "Request for Con-
currence in Acquisition Prices" covering parcels 1 -1, 9 -18, 9 -27,
11-11. and 14 -1.
VI. IPROGRESS
Mr. Sucher reported to the Commission on a number of meet CHAPIN
ings which have been held with representatives of the Park STREET
Board, Board of Works, Common Council, Housing Authority PROJECT
and this Commission. Problems arising from the fact that
comm 'tments are needed from public agencies which are go-
ing o use land in the project area were discussed.
Mrs. Josephine Curtis reported to the Commission that
the number of families requiring dwellings for reloca
tion stands at 30. The number of problem families
drop ed from 8 to 7.

The Commission wil consider recommendations from Linder-
Kelleher at a future meeting on exact specification and
simplifying the design with the object of bringing the
total cost of 1500 booklets to $2000 or less.
