On March 12, 2019 the Board of Public Works opened quotes for the above project. The project
received no quotes and was recommended for special purchasing.

Proposal for Glass and Glazing
Project: CENTURY CENTER
We propose to make repairs to the existing Kawneer doors.
Remove all three doors and deliver to our shop in South Bend
Install temporary wall using studs and plywood. Includes temporary Egress door. Please advise if fire
treated material is required (additional cost)
Remove, inspect and replace fasteners as needed to make like new function.
Replace roller assemblies as needed. We are confident that these are not the tandem Rockwell 5533925.
These rollers have to accommodate the curve In the track. The rollers are most likely the 91282 or 92172
Kawneer. This is an expensive roller assembly.
Remove and refurbish panel line exit device, concealed door closers, deadlocks. We assume that the door
closers and Exit devices do not need to be replaced. We are knowledgeable and have most repair parts
needs. These are very expensive!
Clean and repair top and bottom track. We assume the existing material is still in good condition. We not
included an allowance for replacement.
Replace thresholds and weatherstrip as needed.
Material.
Lift, lumber, sealants,rolIers,exit parts, closer parts, fasteners, thresholds, weatherstrip, tools, hinges.
$ 12,890.00
Labor including shop fabrication $ 44,750.00
Total excluding sales tax $ 57,640.00
