OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING
THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT

I') finds that the Sample Street Redevelopment Project Area
as follows;
BEGINNING at the intersection of the westerly right of Chapin
Street ith the southerly right of way line of the New York Central

THENCE, in an easterly direction along the southerly right of way
line of said New York Central right of way for a distance + of approx-
imately 730 feet to the intersection with the easterly right of way line of
Scott Street.
THENCE, in a southerly direction along said easterly right of
way line of Scott Street for a distance + of 800 feet to the intersection
with the easterly right of way line of Prairie Avenue.
THENCE, along the easterly right of way line of Prairie Avenue
for a stance + of approximately 1460 feet in a southwesterly direction
to the oirt where said easterly right of way line of Prairie Avenue
interse is with the southerly right of way line of Garst Street, extended.
THENCE, along the southerly right of way line of Garst Street
extended and Garst Street for a distance of 600 feet in a westerly
direction to the end of Garst Street at the easterly property line of
Wilson Brothers.
THENCE, in a northerly direction for a distance + of 290 feet
along sa id easterly property line of the Wilson Brothers Plant to the
northerly right of way line of Kerr Street.
THENCE, in an easterly direction along the northerly right of
way line of Kerr Street for a distance of 220 feet to the intersection
with the westerly right of way line of Catalpa Avenue.
HENCE, in a northerly direction along the westerly right of way
line of Catalpa Avenue for a distance of 300 feet to the intersection
with the southerly right of way line of Sample Street.
HENCE, in a westerly direction along the southerly right of way
line of Sample Street for a distance + 940 feet to the intersection with
the west rly right of way line of McPherson Street, extended.
