On motion made by Mr. Koczan, seconded by Mr. Helmen and unanimous-
ly carried, claims for payment totaling $35,482.42 were endorsed by
the C mmission.
IV. RESOLUTION NO. 38 - DIRECT F
Resolution authorizing the execution and delivery of a certain Project
Temporary Loan Note, in the amount of $425,000.00, in connection with
Project Indiana R -7 was introduced by Mr. Clyde E. Williams, Sr.
Said resolution was then read in full and discussed and considered.
Mr. Fred J. Helmen then moved the adoption of the resolution as
introduced and read. Mr. Frank G. Koczan seconded the motion, and,
on ro 1 call, the following voted "Aye ": Mr. Clyde Williams, Sr.
Mr. Fred J. Helmen and Mr. Frank G. Koczan, and the following voted
"Nay" none. The President thereupon declared the motion carried
and t e resolution adopted as introduced and read.

All people that have moved out of the project area have
been contacted regarding debnquent rent and the results
have been compiled and action will.be taken in each case.
Since the workload is at the present time 24 families,
4 singles and 3 commercials, an intensive effort can be
made to relocate problem families into standard housing.
Mr. Bielicki further reported that.while attending the BOARDED UP
NAHRO Conference in Washington, D. C., he had opportu FHA UNITS
nity to discuss the boarded up FHA units in the LaSalle LASALLE
Park Area with Mr. Showell, FHA Property Management PARK
Director. Mr. Showell stated the reason the FHA does DISTRICT

rented and managed by .a local realtor, this had not yet
been, one. He stated these properties could be sold to

the Commission. Mr. Koczan seconded the motion.
Mr. Baer reported.that condemnation suits have been filed CONDEMNA

Louis & John Hartman, 2 -6; Arthur Batchelder, 2 -18; Lee
- Hawki s, 5 -6, and Mrs. Emilia Bilinski, 11 -10.
The Commission authorized Mr. Baer, LPA Counsel, to file SUIT
suit against Arthur Townsend, parcel 12 -10, for possess- AGAINST

The question of collection of delinquent rent'was
discussed. The Commission stated that wherever necessary BACK RENTAL

Supervisor, and the LPA Attorney, garnishment proceedings
are.tc be followed wherever judgment has been taken and the
individual is employed.
