,R ON PRELIMINARY LOAN NOTES SOLD ON JANUARY 30, 1962.
he Executive Director called the attention of the Commis -
ion to the fact that an advertisement had been placed in
he Bond Buyer, the South Bend Tribune and the Record, of-
ering for sale preliminary loan notes lst Series, A, in
he principal amount of $879,000 guaranteed by the United
testes Government. These advertisements called for sealed
ids to be opened on January 30, 1962, 12 o'clock noon,

roller, Mr. Edwin L. Davies.
r. Sucher stated that under the procedure outlined by
he HHFA, the City Controller would notify the successful
idler on the preliminary loan notes, after first secur-
ng approval of the HHFA.
n motion duly made by Mr. Fred J. Helmen, seconded by
r. Virgil A. Place, and unanimously carried, the follow -
ng resolution was adopted:
RESOLVED that the City Controller be

the preliminary loan notes to be
