RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND DEPARTMENT OF
PMENT APPROVING AN URBAN RENEWAL PLAN AND
ITIONS UNDER WHICH RELOCATION PAYMENTS WILL BE
FOR PROJECT NO. INDIANA R-29.
: in connection with an application of the: City of South
BcndL, Dcoartment- of Redcvelopment, to the Housing and Home Finance
Adm1nistr1ator for financial assistance under Title I of 'Che Housing
Act of 1 t3, as amended, the approval by the Governing Body of the
City of South Bond, Department of Redevelopment of an Urban Renewal
Plan for the project area involved in such application is required
by the Federal Government before it will enter into a contract for
loan or grant with the City of South Bond, Department of Redevelop-
ment under said Title I; and
the rules and regulations prescribed by the Federal Govern-
ment purs�ant to Section 106(f) of said Title I require that the con-
ditions wider which the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment
will makelRelocation Payments in connection with the Urban Rene-wal
Project contemplated by said application be officially approved by
the Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelop-
ment; and
WHEREA� there was presented to this meeting of the Governing Body
of the C4y of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, for its con-
sideration and approval, a copy of an Urban Renewal Plan for said

the Relocation Plan attached hereto and marked for the
iewal Project contemplated by said application; and
the Urban Renewal Plan and the conditions under which the
Local Pu lic Agency will make Relocation Payments were reviewed and
consider d at said meeting; and
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment is
cognizant of the conditions that are imposed in the undertaking and
carrying out of urban renewal projects with Federal financial assist-
ance under Title I, including those prohibiting discrimination
because of race, color, creed, or national origin:
NOW, HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the city
of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, as follows:
1. Tlat the conditions under which the Local Public Agency will
make Rel cation Payments are hereby in all respects approved.
2. That the Urban Renewal Plan is hereby in all respects approved
and the ecretary is hereby directed to file a certified copy of
said Urb n Renewal Plan with the minutes of this meeting.
