IOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION,
'ERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT
REDEVELOPMENT APPROVING AN AMENDED URBAN RENEWAL
N FOR PROJECT NO. INDIANA R »7.
, on May 5, 1960, the South Bend Redevelopment Com-
missi�n adopted Resolution No. 15 which resolution was caption-
ed aslfollows:
"RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
VERNING BODY OF CITY OF SOUTH BEND DEPARTMENT OF
REDEVELOPMENT, APPROVING AN URBAN RENEWAL PLAN AND
C NDITIONS UNDER WHICH RELOCATION PAYMENTS WILL BE
E FOR PROJECT NO. INDIANA R -y."
the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, after due
consideration, has decided that the said Urban Renewal Plan
fore adopted on May 5, 1960, should be amended.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission, Governing Body of the City of South Bend Department
of Redevelopment that said Urban Renewal Plan for Project No.
Indiana R -7, adopted on May 5, 1960, be, and the same is hereby,
as follows, and that said amended plan be captioned
"Amended Urban Renewal Plan for Sample Street Project Indiana
R -7, Doted February 7, 196311:
RESOLVED that the foregoing Amended Urban Renewal
Plan a carried out in full compliance with the provisions of
Title I of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended, specifically
including all the provisions prohibiting discrimination because
of ra�e, color, creed or national origin.
RESOLVED that all provisions of the Urban Renewal
Plan adopted on May 5, 1960, for the Sample Street Project
Indiana R -7, except as amended herein, are hereby retained
and reaffirmed.
F RTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary be and he is hereby
direc ed to file a certfied copy of said Amended Urban Renewal
Plan *ith the minutes of this meeting; and after approval by
the C ty Plan Commission and the Common Council of the City
of So th Bend, Indiana, and the Housing and Home Finance Agency,
he isIfurther directed to record same in the Office of the
Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana.
