These revenues are the basis for the administrative budget and need to be appropriated for that use. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. The sum of $595,571 is hereby appropriated and set aside within Fund 212 for program year 2005, beginning January 1, 2005. SECTION II. KENDAbL EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR October 15, 2004 South Bend Common Council Fourth Floor Council Chambers 400 County-City Building South Bend, IN 46601 Dear Council Member: The attached bill for your consideration and approval will appropriate $595,571 in 2005 projected income to the Department of Community and Economic Development from fees, interest income, and staff ~SUpport contracts. These anticipated resources include staff contracts for several not-for-profits and administration of the federal HOME program. These revenues are consistent with the information on the Department's administrative budget presented to the Council in September. As we discussed at our budget meetings this summer, this action will complete the department administrative funding for 2005. If you have any questions, please call me at 235-9330.
