RESOLUT ON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90, ENTITLED "RESOLUTION OF THE CITY
OF SOUT BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION APPROVING THE UNDERTAKING OF
SURVEYS AND PLANS FOR AN URBAN RENEWAL PROJECT AND THE FILING OF AN
APPLICATION", AMENDMENT TO ADD A WHEREAS CLAUSE AND AN ACTION PARAGRAPH
IN ACCORDANCE WITH LPA LETTER NO. 318
W REAS, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and the regula-
tions o the Housing and Home Finance Agency effectuating that Title,
provide that no person shall, on the ground of race, color, or national
origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or
be subjected to discrimination in the undertaking and carrying out of
urban refnewal projects assisted under Title I of the Housing Act of 1964,
as amengea;
, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND REDEVELOP-
MENT COMMISSION
That the United States of America and the Housing and Home Finance
Administrator be, and they hereby are, assured of full compliance by the
City of outh Bend, Department of Redevelopment with regulations of the
Housing and Home Finance Agency effectuating Title VI of the Civil Rights
Act of 11964.
