ADOPTING A POLICY OF PURCHASE PREFERENCE IN THE
LASALLE PARK NO. 1, PROJECT NO. INDIANA R -57 AREA
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission is charged with
the necessary acquisition, clearance, and the sale of land in the
LaSalle ark No. 1, Project No. Indiana R -57, and
WHEREAS, there will be families displaced through acquisition of
certain residential properties and there will be some of these owners
and occu ants of properties who will be desirous of purchasing sites
in the L Salle Park Project Area for re- establishment of their homes,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission hereby adopts a policy wherein preferences will be given,
to owners and occupants of residential properties to be acquired by
the Redevelopment Commission in the LaSalle Park Project area, for
purchase of available home sites for re- establishment of their homes
in the s id Project area.
