On May 28, 2019, the Board of Public Works opened and read quotes for the above project. No
quotes were received, so Open Market solicitation was pursued for project procurement, in
accordance with state code. The Division of Engineering reached out to seven contractors to
solicit open market quotes, and received two responses. Selge Construction Co., Inc., expressed
interest in performing the scope of work at a price of 67 350.00, which was the lowest quote
received.

THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 23rd Day of July, 2019, by and between, Selge
Construction Co. Inc., 2833 S 1 lth Street, Niles, MI 49120, HEREINAFTER called the
Contractor, and the Board of Public Works herein called the "Board".
WITNESSETH: That the Contractor covenants and agrees to make the following improvement,
as fully set out in the Request for Quotations, Standard Specifications, Special Provisions, Plans,
and Bid Proposals, all of which are set forth as a part of this Contract, for:
