RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF BID FOR LAND IN
THE LASALLE PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57
WHEREA , Samson and Clara Wilkins have submitted a written offer meeting
the ap roved minimum price on Disposition Parcel commonly referred to as
No. 22 17A, LaSalle Park Project, Indiana R -57; and
WHEREA , the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that the
accept nce of this bid is in accordance with the approved disposal program
for th s area; and
WHEREA , the Commission has determined that the redeveloper possesses the
qualif cations and financial resources necessary to acquire and develop the
land i accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan; and
WHEREAS, the offer of $205.00 by Samson and Clara Wilkins is satisfactory
and is not less than the offering price of the Commission for uses in accor-
dance with the Urban Renewal Plan, which offering price was submitted to
and approved by the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION accepts the offer
of Samson and Clara Wilkins to acquire at a price of $205.00 and redevelop
the designated Disposition Parcel 22 -17A which is known and described as
follows:
The North 20 feet of Lot 430 in the recorded 2nd Plat
of LaSalle Park, a Subdivision in the Northwest 1/4 of
Section 10 and the Northeast 1/4 of Section 9, Township
37 North, Range 2 East, in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
Adopte at a regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held
August 7, 1970 at the office of the Commission, Room 1200 County -City Build-
ing, 2 7 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
