RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF DIS-
POSITION CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR LAND TO BE
DISPOSED OF IN THE INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION PRO-
JECT R -56
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission offered a certain parcel
of lard in the Industrial Expansion Project, Ind. R -56, for sale at a pub-
lic o fering duly and legally advertised and for which bids were obtained
in accordance with legal procedure on August 12, 1969; and
WHEREAS, at a Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
on August 15, 1969, the Redevelopment Commission reviewed all bids receiv-
ed for the land set forth in the public offering and the highest or best
bid was determined by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission at said meet-
ing; End
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Commission has proceeded with other necessary
legal steps in order to dispose of said land as offered in the public
offering and now desires to enter into Purchase and Redevelopment Agree-
ment iNith the South Bend Supply Company, Inc., prospective purchaser and
redeveloper.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the President and the Secretary of the
Redevelopment Commission are hereby authorized to execute Redevelopment
Agreements, Instruments of Conveyance and all other necessary documents
for the transfer of real estate to the South Bend Supply Company, Inc.,
the successful purchaser of land for disposition under the public offering
held ugust 12, 1969.
