E FIRST AMENDATORY CONTRACT AMENDING CONTRACT NO. IND.
56 BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT
'REDEVELOPMENT AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA FOR
E INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION PROJECT, IND. R -56 -
BE IT RESOLVED BY the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing
Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment as follows:
SECTION 1. The pending proposed First Amendatory Contract (herein
called the "Amendatory Contract ") amending that certain Contract No. Ind.
R- 56(LG) dated the 31st day of July, 1965 by and between the City of South
Bend, Department of Redevelopment ( "herein called the Local Public Agency ")
and the United States of America ( "herein called the Government ") is hereby
in all respects approved.
SECTION 2. The President is hereby authorized and directed to execute
said Amendatory Contract in two counterparts on behalf of the Local Public
Agency, and the Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to impress and
attest the official seal of the Local Public Agency on each such counterpart,
and the Executive Director is authorized to forward such counterparts to the
Departm nt of Housing and Urban Development, for execution on behalf of the
Governm nt, together with such other documents relative to the approval and
executi n of such counterparts as may be required by the Government.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.
