Board'met in repzul€ar session at 10:00 A. A. All members present.
✓ Declaratory hearing on Carroll Court pavement,Improvement Resolution Number 116 from Tutt
Street to Sample Street. In the above matter,no remonstrators appeared and no remon-
strances were filed,; the, Board therefore find in each and every case of said Improvement
that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend are equal to the estimated
cost of said improvements, and the sftme are hereby in all 'tauings ratified,, confirmed and
a ,proved.
Resolved, that notices be published on the 14th. day of February and on the 21st. day of
February 1912 in the South Bend Daily Times, stating that this Board will receive bids for
the construction of said improvements up to 10:00 A.M. on the 5th. d ..y of March 1912. The
Board reserves, the right to reject any or all bids. motion made, seconded and carried
that the foregoing resolution be unani-m^usly adopted by the Board.
Declaratory herring on on the First Alley East of Emeri ek Street from La Salle to Colfax
Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.117 . In the above .matter no remonstrators appeare
appeared and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in each and every
case in said improvement that the benefits to the property and to the City of South Bend
are au€al to the estimated cost of said improvements <�nd the some are hereby in all things
rati 'ied., confirmed and approved,

the voregyoing resolution be unanimously adopted by the Board.

to Williams Street. Under Improve-riefit Resolution No. 120. In the above matter no remon-
strators appeared and no remonstrances viere filed. The Board"therefore Hind in each. and
every case in said improvements that the benefits to the property and to the City of Sojth
Rend are equal to the estimated cost of sfJd improvements and the s€Erne are hereby in all
things ratified confirmed and approved.

no remonstrators appeared,and no remonstrances were filed. The Board therefore find in

City of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said Improvements and the same are
hereby in all things rati tied, confi rmed and approved.

St re et to Taylor Street Pavement jUnder Improvement Resolution No.123.
Remonstrators appeared and a remonstrance was filed: The Board deferred all
action until March Ithe 15th. 1912 at 10:00 A.M. to further investigate.
1"•In the matter of the First Alley South of Division Street a hearing was given on
the pavement of same,Under Improvement Resolution No.121. Remonstrators appeared
and a remonstrance was filed. After due consideration the Board rescinded all
former resolutions pretaining to the same. Motion made,seconded and carried and
unanimously adopted by the Board.
✓ Bids were received and opened for arade,Curb and Walk on O'Brien Street from
,Washington Avenue to Orange Street, Under Improvement Resolution No.106. The
same were referred to the Engineer for tabulation,to be reported to the Board 4
on February the 14th. 1912 at 10:00 A.M.
v1 A protest received by the Board signed by South Michigan Street Citizens,pro-
testing against the payment of the Two Thousand ($2000.00)Dollars retained by
said Board to the Contractor,until the work has been put in good order. The same
was placed on file.
The Central Union Telephone Company asked permi scion to 'qet one pol-e in the alley
south of Sample Street,between Catalpa Avenue and Chapin Street. The same was
granted.
✓ Hearing was granted on Condemnation Resolution No.12. for appropriating;
and opening an extension of High Street from Dubail Avenue to Dayton Street.
This hearing was deferred until -Fridaythe 23rd.of February 1912 at 10:00 A.M.

Hearing was granted on Condemnation Resolution No.13. for the opening and appro-
priating of a highway from the St. Joseph River to Broadway Street,the same was
deferred until February the 23rd.1912 at 10:00 A.M. Motion made, se conded and
carried and unanimously adopted by the Board.
