The same was referred to the City Civil Engineer for investigation, ✓ Remonstrance received and filed by resident property holders on La Porte Avenue remon- strancing against the resurfacing of the aforesaid street. ,"Remonstrances reset ved and i'f led signed by citizens, reronstra neing agairist the pave- ment purposed for the lst. alley North of Railroad Street from Taylor to Scott Street. Petition received from the Centrnl Union Telephone Campany,asking permission to set one pole and one &nchor in the alley south of the L.S.& !A.S.Ry.Co's tracks east mf Cherry Street. In the above matter remonstrators appeared and a remonstrance was filed. The same containing more than the necessary statutary limit,: of remonstrators to allow the proceedings. The Board therefore rescinded all former action on the aforesaid resolution.
