RESOLUTION NO. 270
RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION,
GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT
OF REDEVELOPMENT, AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF HUD -6144,
"REQUEST FOR CONCURRENCE IN ACQUISITION PRICES."
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, Governing Body
e City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment, believes that
now necessary to purchase Parcel Nos. 7 -10, 29 -12 and 29 -17,
le Park Urban Renewal Project, Ind. R -57;
WHEREAS, it has reviewed the three separate appraisals for
Parc 1 Nos. 7 -10, 29 -12 and 29 -17; and
WHEREAS, the proposed acquisition prices for the parcels of real
estate, identified as Parcel Nos. 7 -10, 29 -12 and 29 -17, as shown on
Form HUD -6144, dated July 18, 1969, is, in the opinion of the Commission,
fair and reasonable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Bend Redevelopment
Commission hereby determines that Parcel Nos. 7 -10, 29 -12 and 29 -17, in
LaSalle Park, be acquired and that the filing with the Urban Renewal
Admi istration of Form HUD -6144, dated July 18, 1969, for said Parcel
Nos. 7 -10, 29 -12 and 29 -17, is hereby approved.
Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission
held July 18, 1969, at the office of the Commission, 120 West LaSalle
Avenue, Suite 1001, South Bend, Indiana.
