RESOLUTION NO. 259
A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION,
GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF
REDEVELOPMENT, ESTABLISHING THE METHOD AND /OR METHODS OF
DISPOSITION AND AUTHORIZING THE REQUEST FOR CONCURRENCE
IN RECOMMENDED MINIMUM DISPOSITION PRICES OF LAND IN
THE INDUSTRIAL EXPANSION PROJECT, IND. R -56
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that
now necessary to establish the method to be used for disposition of
ct land in the Industrial Expansion Project in accordance with the
Disposition Plan.
WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission has determined that
the ale of these parcels are in accordance with the Disposition Plan for
this area; and
WHEREAS, the minimum price for said land has been determined in ac-
cordance with all applicable statues of the State of Indiana and rules and
regu ations and Federal statutes governing the sale of urban renewal land;
and
WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Commission has reviewed the three separate
Reus Appraisals for said parcels; and
WHEREAS, the proposed disposition prices for said parcels are, in
the pinion of the Commission, fair and reasonable; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission determines
that the land in the project area shall be disposed of by a sealed bid
public offering with a predetermined minimum fair value, more particularly
described in the disposition methods of:
Urban Renewal Handbook RHA 7214.1,
Chapter 4, Section 1 and 2
are the appropriate methods of disposition in accordance with the Urban
Renewal Plan as recorded; and
FURTHER, that the South Bend Redevelopment Commission authorizes the
Executive Director to submit the proposed disposition price of twenty-
three (23¢) cents per square foot to the Department of Housing and Urban
Development Office for concurrence.

on April 3, 1969, at the Office of the Commission, 120 West LaSalle Avenue,
Suite 1001, South Bend, Indiana.
