'' Roar*, _ordered the City Eng ineer in the matter of the private imp'rovement of Vernon St. to set the stakes for the grade and pro -rate the assessment roll from Lake Shore and Michigan gouthern R.N. right of way to Calvert St. The Welsbach representitive of the Street Lighting Company of America appeared before the Board and asked the privilege of installing of three blocks of their t Companys Street lights #6 hts in the Citylthe same to be installed and maintained at the, Companys expense for the purppse of demonstrating what the light can do. President Board met in regular hearing at 7-15 P.M. all members present . Hearing given. on Vacation Resolution No.13 fort;the purpose of vacating the following property to -wit ; First. Alley -South of Calvert St. from .Fain St. to right of' way of. the Vendelia Railroad in Stover &,Witwer's Addition. In the above --matter no remohstrators appeared and no rexionstraances were filed ,the Board therefore sustain all former action taaken,aand declare the above described property in all things vacated and this resolution in all things ratified, confirmed and approved. The City Engineer is instructed to prepare as roll showing awards of dam -ages and assess: ents of benefits to all parties and properties interested. Hearing given on -assessment roll and final estimate on Arthur Street Graade,Curb and Walk from Campau St. to La;,,Salle Road under improvement resolution No.71. In the above matter no remonstrances were filed and no remonstrators appeared. The Board therefore find that the property ,assessed. in said rolls filed November 14th. 1911 is benefited in the amount o'f , assessments as shown on said rolls,aand the Board further find that the assessment rolls filed. Nov. 14th. 1911 and the final estimate allowed Novem -er 14th. 1911 should be and the sate are hereby in all things ratified,confirmed and ,j),p approved. ✓ Central Union Telephone Co. requested permission to set poles and anchors as follows; Four poles and two anchors between Woodworth St. -nand duet' ave.
