Prelininary Resolution Designating, Kind of. Pavement
Whereas,The Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend,Indiana„persuant to t
its notice to do so,met on Vie 2nd. of August 1911 and publicly opened bids for
the improvement of South Michigan street from Ewing Avenue to Leeper Rode as authori
-zed by Improvement Resolution no.79.. adopted on the 26th. day of May 1911.
Therefore,Be It Resolved.That the said street be paved with crushed limestone.
Passed and approved this the 4th. day of Au:-ust 1911. ten days up on Aug.14tr;
In the matter of Crade,Curb and Walk on west Sample. Street improvement
resolution no.76 the game was recinred.
Petition received for a grade on the Alley South of Sample Street From High
Street to Vistula avenue refered to City Engineer for specifications.
Engineer Piled Assessment Roll and Final Estimate on Sancome Avenue Im,provemet
Resolution No. 56. from Michigan Avenue to Tan Buren Street Grade, Curb and Walk.
Resolved,that notices an to the amounts of assessments be published for six
consecutive ..ays in the South Bend Deily. Times. comrencing on tree 29th day of August
19ll,stating thUt this Board will give a hearin,_ on the amounts of such assessments
at its office in the City Hall on.the 22nd. dray of, eptember 1911 at 7-15 P.M.
Resolved,further,that the entire work under the above contract be accepted and
approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution, snall
be published on the 29th riay of August 1911 in the South mend Daily Tir_es,stating;
that this Eoard will give a .earing on the acceptance of sucri work at its office
in the City all on the 22nd. d y of September 1911 at 7-15 P.M.
