RESO UTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION, GOVERNING BODY
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT OF REDEVELOPMENT,,AUTHORIZING
THE FILING OF AN AMENDATORY APPLICATION TO INCREASE THE LOAN AND
CAPITAL GRANT UNDER THE HOUSING ACT OF 1949, AS AMENDED FOR THE LASALLE
PARK PROJECT, IND. R -57
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment is operating
on an Annual Administrative Budget system instituted and approved by the Depart-
ment of Housing and Urban Development, and that administrative expenses included
under this budget system are distributed to the various projects being undertaken
by the Department by an approved payroll distribution system; and
WHEREAS, the payroll distribution of administrative expenses to the LaSalle
Park Project, Ind. R -57 has shown that the administrative budget line item of
that project is insufficient to complete the project activities in accordance
with and to the full extent permitted by the law and the regulations governing
the administration of such a project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the South Bend Redevelopment Commission,
Governing Body of the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment that an
Amendatory Application for Loan and Capital Grant on behalf of the City of South
Bend, Department of Redevelopment for an increase in the loan and capital grant
and to amend the project expenditures budget in order to provide the necessary
administrative expenses to be borne by the project through the Annual Administrative
Budget distribution system, and the Executive Director of the Commission is
hereby authorized to execute and is directed to file such Amendatory Application
with the Department of Housing and Urban Development and to provide such additional
information and to furnish such documents as may be required by said Department
and to act s the authorized representative of the City of South Bend, Department
of Redevelolpment.
Adopted at the regular meeting of the Redevelopment Commission held February
6, 1969 at the office of the Commission, 120 West LaSalle Avenue, Suite 1001,
South Bend, Indiana 46601.
