M. all members present. . ✓Partial estimmayte allowed OtShea & O'Shea Contractors on the Meade Street Sewer $234.37 "",Communication received and placed on file from the AmericagSurety Company. of, New York 11kng to be-releasedfrom Cassius M. Lane bond of $1000.00. It was read and placed on file. Grade Curb and walk on South Michigan' Street From Ewing Avenue to Donmoyer Avenue Contract awarded to H. N. Barnes. The contract price $1215.50 IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 69' RESOLVED 21by the Board of Public Works of. the City of South Bend, Indianaa, that it is deemed necessary to make the following described public improvements in the aforesaid city as�authorized by the following numbered improvement resolution adopted by said board on the 26th. day of May 1911. Resolved that an improvement be made ofthe kind, size location and terninal points as follows:That it is°deemed necessary to improve College Street from Michigan Avenue to the North line of Pleasant Veiw Addition. By grading the said street fr from property line to property line and constructing cement walks and curbs on both side s of said street where•the same is not already constructed. All as shown on detail plans profiles and specification on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of said City. And such improvement is n6w ordered. Said improvements shall be known and designated as College Street Grade, curb and walk improvement from Michigan Avenue to the north line of Pleasant Veiw Addition Said Board has fixed the 14th.. day of July 1911 as a date upon which remonstrances°may be filed or heard by persons interested or effected by said public i improvements and on said day at 7:15 P. M. said Board will at its said office hear and consider any remonstrators and persons interested or whose property is`af'fected by said pu Public improvement and will decide whether the benfits that will accrue to the property, abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said City, will be equal to, or exceed the estimated cost of the proposed improvements, as estimated by the city Civil Engineer. . By grading the said street -from property line to curb line and constructing cement walks and curb on both sides of said street where the sane is not already constructed. All as show on detail plans, profiles and specification on file in the office of the Public Works of said City. And such improvment is now ordered. Said improvements shall be known and designated as FELLOWS STREET GRADE, CURB AND ?WALK IMPROVEMENT FROM BRO j'kRDWAY TO INDIANA AVENUE. Revolved that an improvement be made of. the kind,' size, location and terminal points as follows:' That it is deemed necessary to improve south Michigan Street from Ewing Avenue to a point one and one half Miles South (Leepr Road) By maeadaamizing a strip 12 or 16 feet wide with gravel or lime stone. The depth shall be nine(9) inches on the sick and twelve(12) inches in the center, all as shown on detail plans, profile and specification on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of said City. By grading; and paving the said alley from property line to property line with asphalt, Bitulithic, Cresosoted Wooden blocks or Brick, laid on a five inch portland cemc--n gravel foundation, placing the necessary marginal curb nd constructing the necessary storm water inlets all as sl6own can plans, and in accordance with profiles, detail plans and specifications on file in the office of the Department of Public Works of said City. By grading and paving the said Alley from the property line to the .property line with Asphalt, Bitulithic, Creosoted Wooden Blocks or Brisk, laid on a five (5) inch.portlgnd cement gravel foundation, also constructing the neeessary marginal curb and storm water inlets. All as shown on detail plans, profiles and specifications on file in the office of the Departnent of /Public Works of said City. And such improvement is now ordered. Said improvements shall be known and designated as PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT OF THE FIRST ALLEY NORTH OF NAVARRE STREET FROM MAIN STREET TO LA FAYETTE STREET. Said Board has fixed the 14th. day of July 1911 as a date upon which remonstrances may be filed or heard by'peisens interested or affected by said public improvements -and on said day at 7;15 P. M. said Board will at its said office hear and . consider any remonstrators and persons interested or whose property is affected by said public improvement and will decide whether the benfits that will accrue to the property, abutting and adjacent to the proposed improvements and to said City, Wil.-IL be equal to, or exceed the estimated eest'of the proposed improvements, as estimated by the City Civil Engineer. Resolved that an improvement be made of the kind, size, loeatin and terminal ports as fellows; That it is deemed necessary to improve the first alley west of William Street from Was ington Street to Jefferson Street. By grading and paving the said Alley from the property line to the property line with Asphalt, Bitulithie, Creosoted Wooden Blocks or Brick, laid on a five (5) portland cement gravel foundation.
