RESOLUTION NO. 241
RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION,
GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, DEPARTMENT
OF REDEVELOPMENT, AUTHORIZING AND APPROVING THE ASSIGN-
MENT OF CONTRACT FROM THE GREATER SOUTH BEND HOUSING
CORPORATION TO LASALLE PARK HOMES, INC.
WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment,
entered into a certain contract with the Greater South Bend
Sing Corporation to sell to said Corporation certain real estate
ited in what is commonly referred to as the LaSalle Park Project,
R -57, which contract is dated the 18th day of July, 1968; and
WHEREAS, the Greater South Bend- Housing Corporation has assign -
aid contract to LaSalle Park Homes, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, LaSalle Park Homes, Inc. is composed of the same member -
shi and is formed for the same purposes as the Greater South Bend
Hou ing Corporation; and
WHEREAS, both corporations are Indiana not- for - profit corpora-
tions, and LaSalle Park Homes, Inc. was formed to carry out the pro-
grains for development and maintenance of said real estate in accord-
ance with the plans and specifications developed by the Greater South
Bend Housing Corporation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the assignment of the con-
tract above described to LaSalle Park Homes, Inc. is in all things here-
by approved, and upon compliance with the terms of said contract by La-
Salle Park Homes, Inc., an Indiana not - for - profit corporation, the Presi-
dent and Secretary of the Department of Redevelopment of the City of
Sou h Bend shall, and they are hereby authorized to deliver a deed in
tom liance with said contract provisions to LaSalle Park Homes, Inc.
Adopted at the Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commis-
sion held on November 7, 1968, at the office of the Commission, 120
West LaSalle Avenue, Suite 1001, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
