RE: Request to install temporary sidewalk art in front of 1522 E. Mishawaka Ave.
To Board of Public Works:
In honor of South Bend Pride 2019, The LGBTQ Center is requesting permission to paint the sidewalk outside
our building at 1522 E. Mishawaka avenue. The installation will be a rectangle of four sidewalk blocks, totaling
20 feet by 5 feet by 9 feet in size.
The installation would be temporary and use semi-permanent/removable paint. The installation design will be
multi -colored and reflect the positive mission of South Bend Pride to promote an inclusive community where all
are welcome. The installation will be supervised by The LGBTQ Center staff and be completed with help from
area youth.
