The RFP process has shown that they are the best partner through their technical approach and abilities for the complexity, schedule, and creative needs of Howard. We would further like to award wayfinding and signage in a number of other park properties to Burkhart Sign Systems. Those properties would be City Cemetery, West Bank Trail, Leeper Park, Pinhook Park, the River Walk, and Pulaski Park. The RFP has shown that they are the best partner for these parks through their local presence, cost, and flexibility. After award, we will enter negotiations for contracts that will also be brought before the Board. These contracts will not be exclusive.
