Resolved by the Board of Public Works of +he.City of South Bend,Indiana;that it is.
desirable to Vacate the following;Beginning at a point an the northerly line of Vistula
Avenue fifty-three and ei g ..ty five hundreths (53.5) feet north fifty (50 °) degreesf the
south went corner of lot number One Kindred and nine(109)' of the Original Plat of the
Town now the City of South Bend,Indiana; said point being the center of Columbia. Street
as formally platted,running thence in a northeasterly direction to a paint on the westerly
of said lot lo9,nintty (90) feet north,of said southwest corner,.thence north on said -weste
4 -ly line of staid lot,twenty-five (2.5)feet,thence southwesterly ninety(90)ft more or less
to the place of beginning.
The following property may be injuriously or beneficially effected by such Vacation
Beginning eighty-six (96) feet northwesterly from the intersection of the north line
of lot 1.in wiltroutAq Sub-Divvand easterly line of Vistula Avenue;thence northwesterly
with the Avenue thirty(.30) feet ;thence northeasterly to the east-lineof Columbia st,
i thence north to the St,Joseph River;thence souttheasterly to the northwesterly line of
Neddo's lot.;thence southwesterly to the place of beginning.owned by Jacob S.tand
Maggie S. Kerner.
Notice of thid resolution shall be published on the 12th. day of April and on the l9th.
day of a,pril 1911 in the South Bend, Daily Times.
The Board: at its office in the City all on the 2nd. day of may 1911 at 10 A. M. will
hear and reeeive remonstrances from all -persons interested in or affected by these
proceedings'.

Board after due consideration,Reselved that they find in each and,every cL,se in

areequal to the estimated cost of said improvements and. the same are hereby in
all.','Zthings ratifiedeenfirried and approved.
De it Resolved that notices be published in the south Bend Daily Tines on the
15th. and on the 221-Jh. days of April 1911 to the effect that this Board will receive
bids for the construction of, said improvements up to 10 A.M. on the 5th. day of May
191-1. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
V Hearing given on Declaratory Resolution No. 59. for a Sewer System, on Angella.Ave.,
Blaine Ave. Me.Cartney St. and Portage Ave.
In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were filed.
Therefore be it resolved tnat the Board find in each and every cage in said improvemett
ti-iat the benefits to the property, and to the City of South Bend are es-qual to the
estimated cost of said improvements and the scrLme are hereby in all things .ratified,
confirmed and approved.
Be it Resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daily Times on the 15th*-
and on the 22nd. day s of April 1911 to the effect that this Board will receive bids
for the construction of said. impbovements up to 10.A. M. on the Sth. day of May 1911
