Board met in regular session at 10 A. M* lit.' I.,ambert absent
nearing given on west Calvert Street Grade.Curb and Walk Improvement Resolution No. 57.
In the above matter
'' remonstrators app wared and remonstrances were filed.
Therefore the Board Resolved.to modify the original Resolution as follows;
Resolved by the Board` of Public 'Works of the City of Sough Bend,Indiana. That the
Improvement of Calvert St. from Main St. to Kenble Ave.be modified by leav*) out the
walk on the south"side of said Calvert Street from Franklin Street to the alley
ap-pbsitet.."Reridall Street. Therefor be it further resolvedhat as amended the board
:it each.and every n said improvements that the benefits to the,property, and to the
city of South Bend are equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same
are hereby in all things gratified, confirmed -and approved.
Be. it resolved that notices be published in. the South Bend Daily Times on the 21st..
n 4 February and on the 28th. day of February 1911 to the effect that this board will
receive.bids for the construction of said improvements up to 3;000 A. M. on the lotho
day of March 1911, The Board reserves the right to reject.any and all bids.

y the Board of 'Public Vorks have resolved to modify improvement resolution #53 to read
as follows: Resolved by the Board of Public Works the City od South Bend, Indiana.
That the resolution for the improvement of Eddy Street from Refferson Street to South
Bend Avenue be modified by leaving out the walk on the east side of said Eddy Street
$romp:"'Jeffers6n:Streetr�to a point in li ne with the north line of La Salle Avenue.:
Therefor be it resolved as amended that the Board find in each and every case in said
improvements that the benefits to the property, and to the City of South Bend are
equal to the estimated cost of said improvements and the same are hereby in all things
ratified, confirmed and approved.
Be it resolved that notices be published in the South Bend Daftly Times on the 21st day of
February and on the 28th. day of February 1911, to -the effect that this Board will
receive bids for the co nstruction of said improvements up to 19,00 A. M. on the loth.
day of March 1911. The board reserves a right to rejeet•any and all bids.
Petition received and placed on file asking for eight street lights on South Mi chigan
Street from Ewing Avenue to Chippewa Avenue.
Petition received and referred to the City Engineer asking for walks and curbs on south
Michigan Street from Eying Avenue to Chippewa Avenue
