GentlemeN Replying to your inquiry and request for an opinion upon the ulicatio •of the Statute approved Jul 26.1920, Acts of 19209 Pa a 66, it is apparent ti�"t this _tatute covers all legal advert sing required by law on he part of any.City cer ° The effect of the law is this! that whereas theretofore publication in most cases was,requ.ired in only one newspaper of general circulation printed and published in such City, now and since the passage of said Act, publication is requirdd in two newspapers of opposite'pd'titical affiliation if there are such. The law is also changed in that in all cases except that of annual reports (which are required to be published only once) all such notices must be published by not fever than two insertions one week apart, In certain Eases the Statutes require three publications -and that law is unchanged.
