The project limits extend from the roads south of South Bend Avenue from Hill Street to Francis Street, Madison Street being the furthest street south. PROJECT ELEMENTS The purpose of this project was for the sewer separation of a combined sewer through the installation of new storm sewers. The disturbed half of the street was repaired with new pavement while the remainder of the street received a pavement overlay. New curb, gutter, and sidewalks were also placed on the disturbed half of the street. In addition, over 1.5 miles of new storm sewer and over 150 new structures, along with new water services and some new water lines, were installed. From our initial review of the plans we noted conflict points between the new storm pipe and gas, water, and fiber.
