After review, the system quoted by Culligan of Mishawaka is an equal to the system specified by the quote request. The Culligan quote listed the inclusion of 1400lbs of salt included instead of the 1500lbs specified in the quote request. Upon contacting the firm, this was a typo and the full 1500lbs will be supplied as specified. Venues Parks & Arts recommends award of the quote for a water softener at Four Winds Field of $13,326,00 to the lowest responsive / responsible bidder, Culligan of Mishawaka.
